We are seeking a skilled Teller to join our team at Absa Group Limited in Ventersdorp. As a key member of our customer-facing staff, you will be responsible for providing personalized assistance to customers, processing transactions efficiently, and maintaining accurate records.

• Cash Handling: Process cash transactions, manage cash floats, and ensure the security of physical cash and other financial instruments.
• Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers, respond to queries, and resolve issues promptly.
• Transaction Processing: Execute transactions accurately and efficiently, including cheques, drafts, and other financial instruments.
• Fraud Prevention: Monitor and report suspicious activities, adhere to policies and procedures to prevent fraud.
• Reconciliation and Reporting: Reconcile daily cash, prepare reports for management review, and maintain accurate records.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Higher Certificates or Advanced National (Vocational) Certificates: In Business, Commerce, and Management Studies.
• Excellent Communication Skills: To interact with customers, colleagues, and management effectively.
• Attention to Detail: To ensure accuracy and precision in transaction processing and record-keeping.
• Ability to Work in a Team: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Estimated Salary: R160,000 - R200,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
