Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement integrated growth strategies for existing and new sectors in the local market.
  • Lead South Africa-focused marketing campaigns across multiple channels to increase brand visibility and generate interest.
  • Conduct detailed reporting and analysis of campaign impact in South Africa to drive informed decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with local PR agencies and expand the firm's presence in tier 1 media.
  • Create South Africa-specific content and adapt global marketing materials for local relevance.
  • Represent Oliver Wyman South Africa in global Marketing team forums and identify synergies between global and local campaigns.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with organizations, associations, and influencers as relevant.
  • Develop tailored account-based marketing (ABM) strategies in collaboration with local Partner leadership.
  • Enhance employer brand through local activations and support Recruitment team efforts.
  • Maintain a keen interest in industry trends, competitive intelligence, and regulatory changes.
  • Identify and negotiate speaking opportunities for firm leaders at influential conferences and events in South Africa.
  • Oversee local marketing operations and manage relationships with agencies and vendors.
Requirements
  • 8+ years proven track record and experience in a B2B marketing/communication function in professional services or agency.
  • Expertise in crafting and editing engaging content across multiple formats.
  • Client-centric/Account Based Marketing experience with a strategic eye on linking Marketing impact with Commercial Objectives.
  • Strong media relationships in South Africa an advantage, or experience in managing a PR agency.
  • Team management and working with an international peer group.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana.
