Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to lead our commercial activities in Africa.

About the Role

This is a dynamic and challenging opportunity for an experienced professional to drive business growth and expansion in the region.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Maintain and grow existing relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding our presence in the African market.
  • Analyse sales and financial reports to inform business decisions and improve performance.
  • Ensure profitable sales and business operations.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, marketing, finance).
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the fresh produce industry.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset, with excellent negotiating skills.
  • Proven ability to build strong business relationships and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
