Job Title: NetApp Channel Manager

Job Context:

Are you ready to drive sales and marketing strategies for our products? We seek a vibrant individual to manage vendor relationships, maintain inventory, and craft compelling brand strategies. You'll be responsible for price modeling, coordinating activities, training sales teams, and launching promotions. Your goal will be to lead go-to-market strategies and ensure our products shine.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop sales strategies for assigned products and services.
Research and analyze market trends and customer needs.
Conduct market research to determine customer needs and potential matches to specific products.
Evaluate product marketability related to customer needs.
Maintain a current understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets.
Provide market information to management for sales budget development and strategic plans.
Prepare and execute plans to achieve vendor MBO/Rebate targets.
Target and forecasting management.
Arrange and prepare for vendor QBRs in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications and Experience:

Relevant degree/diploma in sales, marketing, or business studies is advantageous.
NetApp sales/technical certification or equivalent other vendor certification (EMC, Simplivity, HP, IBM other).
Valid driver's license and own vehicle is essential.

Competencies:

Strong understanding of product sales and take-to-market systems.
Knowledge of customer service and support processes.
Knowledge of the Southern Africa Channel market.

Mandatory Skills:

Strong sales and technical ability.
Well-organized.
Strong planning skills.
Excellent oral communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Able to analyze and problem-solve.
Sufficient technical knowledge of the industry.
Commercial business acumen.
Administratively competent.

Desired Skills:

Experience training users on procurement processes.
Experience in Power BI.

Package and Remuneration:

Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
