**Job Title:** NetApp Channel Manager

Our team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Channel Manager to join our organization. As a Channel Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies for our assigned products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for someone who can:
- Research and develop sales strategies for assigned products and services.
- Determine market strategies and goals for each assigned product and service.
- Obtain and organize sales and product data for use in marketing plans and goal setting.
- Research and develop potential customer lists for assigned products.
- Conduct market research to determine customer needs and potential matches to specific products.
- Evaluate product marketability related to customer needs.
- Maintain a current understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets.
- Provide market information to management for sales budget development and strategic plans.
- Prepare, execute, and manage plans to achieve the vendor MBO/rebate targets.
- Target and forecasting management.
- Arrange and prepare for vendor QBRs in a timely and professional manner.
Qualification and Experience Requirements:
- Relevant degree/diploma in sales, marketing, business studies is advantageous.
- NetApp sales/technical certification or equivalent other vendor certification (EMC, Simplivity, HP, IBM, other).
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle are essential.
Competencies:
- Strong understanding of product sales and take-to-market systems.
- Knowledge of customer service and support processes.
- Knowledge of the Southern Africa Channel market.
Experience:
- 3 or more years' experience as a Channel Manager or in a combined marketing and sales position.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Data Management and Cloud technology.
- Proven successful track record.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong sales and technical ability.
- Well-organized.
- Strong planning skills.
- Excellent oral communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Able to analyze and problem-solve.
- Have sufficient technical knowledge of the industry.
- Commercial business acumen.
- Administratively competent.
Desired Skills:
- Experience training users on procurement processes.
- Experience in Power BI.
Package and Remuneration:
- Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
