**Job Title:** NetApp Channel Manager

Our team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Channel Manager to join our organization. As a Channel Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies for our assigned products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Research and develop sales strategies for assigned products and services.
  • Determine market strategies and goals for each assigned product and service.
  • Obtain and organize sales and product data for use in marketing plans and goal setting.
  • Research and develop potential customer lists for assigned products.
  • Conduct market research to determine customer needs and potential matches to specific products.
  • Evaluate product marketability related to customer needs.
  • Maintain a current understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets.
  • Provide market information to management for sales budget development and strategic plans.
  • Prepare, execute, and manage plans to achieve the vendor MBO/rebate targets.
  • Target and forecasting management.
  • Arrange and prepare for vendor QBRs in a timely and professional manner.

Qualification and Experience Requirements:

  • Relevant degree/diploma in sales, marketing, business studies is advantageous.
  • NetApp sales/technical certification or equivalent other vendor certification (EMC, Simplivity, HP, IBM, other).
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle are essential.

Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of product sales and take-to-market systems.
  • Knowledge of customer service and support processes.
  • Knowledge of the Southern Africa Channel market.

Experience:

  • 3 or more years' experience as a Channel Manager or in a combined marketing and sales position.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Data Management and Cloud technology.
  • Proven successful track record.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong sales and technical ability.
  • Well-organized.
  • Strong planning skills.
  • Excellent oral communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Able to analyze and problem-solve.
  • Have sufficient technical knowledge of the industry.
  • Commercial business acumen.
  • Administratively competent.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience training users on procurement processes.
  • Experience in Power BI.

Package and Remuneration:

  • Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
