Job Description:

The role of a Channel Manager at Specd involves maintaining strong relationships with vendors, managing inventory, and developing brand strategies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating effective sales strategies, analyzing market trends, and promoting our products to potential customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy Development: Determine market strategies and goals for assigned products and services, obtaining and organizing sales and product data for use in marketing plans and goal setting.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to determine customer needs and potential matches to specific products, evaluating product marketability related to customer needs.
  • Vendor Relations: Assumes responsibility for maintaining productive relations with vendor, clients, customers, retailers, and internal and external sales contacts.
  • Product Promotion: Assists in the selling of assigned products, establishing and maintaining industry contacts that provide potential sales leads.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant degree /diploma in sales, marketing, business studies is advantageous.
  • NetApp sales / technical certification or equivalent other vendor certification (EMC, Simplivity, HP, IBM other).
  • Valid drivers license & own vehicle is essential.
Competencies:
  • Strong understanding of product sales and take to market systems.
  • Knowledge of customer service and support processes.
  • Knowledge of the Southern Africa Channel market.
Estimated Salary:

R 750,000 - R 1,000,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
