Portfolio Manager and Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Manager and Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Accountancy Placements Pietermaritzburg. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong organizational skills and attention to detail to support our portfolio managers in their daily tasks.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client portfolios, administering office management tasks, and providing exceptional customer service. You will also collaborate with our events coordinator to organize client events, including venue booking and RSVP management.
This role requires a methodical and accurate approach, with meticulous attention to detail. You should have knowledge of the financial services industry, understanding of FAIS and FICA legislation, and relevant tertiary education or courses. Experience with XPlan, DMA, Marble, and Opus is advantageous.
In addition to your technical skills, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
