Administrative Lead in Care Services

We are seeking a highly skilled Care Home Administrator to join our team at National Renal Care, providing exceptional administrative support to our care home operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the provision of effective and efficient reception services, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for prospective residents and their families.
  • Coordinate admissions with the Home Manager or Deputy Home Manager, ensuring a seamless transition for new residents.
  • Ensure that Resident contracts are presented to residents or their representatives prior to admission and completed on day one of admission.
  • Collect initial payments and arrange Direct Debits for ongoing payments, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Liaise with various departments regarding payroll, procurement, finance, and HR, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a care home administrator is essential, demonstrating a strong understanding of care home operations.
  • A warm and approachable persona, confident in liaising with staff and residents.
  • Excellent time management skills, able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work alone as well as part of a team, achieving results through collaboration and communication.
