We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at WTW. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our revenue reporting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Reviewing and analyzing revenue variances against prior year, including client and invoice level data.
  2. Preparing revenue journals and ensuring consistency with operational systems.
  3. Working closely with the business to understand invoicing and work completion timing.
  4. Challenging and reviewing accruals and deferrals of revenue.
  5. Applying IFRS 15 requirements across all lines of business.
  6. Supporting the business in indirect tax checking, recording, and reporting.
  7. Assisting in transfer pricing reporting.

You will have a strong understanding of revenue recognition requirements and application, as well as a willingness to learn and understand indirect taxes. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential for this role.

A B Com Accounting qualification or similar, along with completed articles or suitable business experience, is required. Preference will be given to applicants from designated groups, in line with the South African Employment Equity Act.
