Key Account Manager

Armstrong Appointments is seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing key accounts, creating business plans, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop key accounts to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement business plans to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction
  • Provide exceptional customer service to key clients, including Shoprite and Checkers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive business growth and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze market trends
  • Proven experience in account management, particularly in the FMCG industry
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of key accounts and their specific needs
  • Residency in Cape Town

Desirable Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years FMCG sales experience, preferably as a Key Accounts Manager
  • Experience in the FMCG industry, particularly with Checkers and Shoprite systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Own car and valid driver's license
