Job Title: Admin Controller

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admin Controller to join our team at Foschini. As an Admin Controller, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our store, assisting the Store Manager with reporting and stock management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock Management: Assist the Store Manager with stock take and store administration, monitor and analyze stock movement within the store, and implement risk management procedures to mitigate stock losses and shrinkage.
  • Reporting and Administration: Ensure compliance with all administration, systems, and reporting procedures, extract store reports to analyze store turnover and stock performance, and present information to the Store Manager.
  • Customer Service: Process customer transactions via the active retail system (POS), identify customer needs through professional engagement and communication, and establish customer loyalty by promoting cash reward programs.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work within a team to meet sales targets and implement store objectives, remain in sync with the latest fashion trends, and continuously develop your selling skills and product knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: A Grade 12 qualification and a minimum of 3 years retail or admin experience.
  • Skills: Ability to communicate in a professional manner, plan and organize, work independently, and be computer literate.
  • Personal Qualities: Passion for excellent customer service and sales environment, ability to work under pressure, and availability to work shifts.

Preferred Qualifications: Candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act will be given preference.
