Strategic Business Development Manager

As a Strategic Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by maximizing profitability and fostering strong relationships through effective new business development, supplier and dealer relationship management, and strategic cross-selling efforts.
You will identify and pursue new business opportunities within the consumer market, focused on key asset classes such as solar and luxury leisure assets. This includes developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of potential suppliers and dealerships, onboarding new suppliers/dealers to ensure continued application flow, and managing the efficient execution of new applications from initiation to closure.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you must have a minimum BCom degree with financial or accounting subjects advantageous. Additionally, you should have at least 2+ years' experience in a sales/client-facing position with a solution selling focus, basic financial understanding, reading, and understanding bank statements, as well as excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
A valid driver's license (Code 08) and a clean credit record are also essential. Familiarity with the National Credit Act is required.
