Job Description:

As the Executive Group Revenue Manager at Wild Dreams Hospitality, you will be responsible for leading the reservations sales performance of the team to achieve improved room occupancy figures across all camps. Your primary goal will be to inspire a team that delivers exceptional customer experiences and excellent group journeys through every reservation inquiry.

The successful candidate will oversee the performance and leadership of the Travel Designers in maintaining high service standards, ultimately driving revenue growth, enhancing agent/guest satisfaction, and improving our global service ranking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management and Leadership
  • Overseeing General, GP%, and cost budgets
  • Driving Reservations Performance
  • Staying Up-to-Date with Technology and Reporting Systems
Candidate Requirements:
  • A Matric certificate with maths (minimum standard grade or above)
  • A Tertiary certificate in Travel & Tourism/hospitality
  • 10-15 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, with management experience being advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and Internet applications
  • Proven English literacy skills
  • An in-depth working knowledge of Tourplan and WISH or similar booking/operating systems
  • Extensive product knowledge of Southern and East Africa, including destinations and logistics for large groups
  • Personal or educational travel experience in the regions operated by Wilderness will be an advantage
  • Leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • The ideal candidate must be sales-driven, highly organized, possess high energy levels, be a self-starter, a team player, efficient, and a strategic thinker

Estimated Salary Range:

R550,000 - R750,000 per annum, depending on experience
