About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Group Revenue Strategist to join our team in Gauteng, Sandton. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to lead our reservations sales performance and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing team to achieve exceptional room occupancy figures across all camps.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve group reservations performance, ensuring a positive experience for clients and guests.
  • Manage general, GP%, and cost budgets, as well as technology and reporting systems.
Candidate Requirements
  • Maturity certificate with maths (minimum standard grade or above).
  • Tertiary certificate in Travel & Tourism/hospitality.
  • 10-15 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, with management experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and Internet applications.
  • Proven English literacy and working knowledge of Tourplan and WISH or similar booking/operating systems.
  • Extensive product knowledge of Southern and East Africa, including destinations and logistics for large groups.
  • Personal or educational travel experience in the regions we operate in will be advantageous.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and attention to detail skills.
  • A self-starter with high energy levels, sales drive, and strategic thinking abilities.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is R1,200,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.

Location

This role is located in Gauteng, Sandton, and requires regular travel to various locations throughout Southern and East Africa.
