About the Job

We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager - Construction Industry to join our team in South Africa. As a key member of our construction industry division, you will be responsible for new business development and driving growth in the Electro-Mechanical Projects sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Electro-Mechanical Projects market
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
- Analyze data to inform business decisions and drive growth

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5-10 years' experience in new business development, preferably in an Electro-Mechanical contracting environment or construction projects
  • A Mechanical qualification (e.g., BEng, MEng, or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound strategic and operational decisions
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively


Estimated Salary

R960,000 - R1,100,000 per annum
