Business Development Professional

HR Genie is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Professional to manage and nurture relationships with key clients, driving market growth efforts and exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring accurate documentation, pricing, and stock information is provided to clients.
- Understand client needs, objectives, and challenges, facilitating timely provision of shipping and clearing documentation.
- Assist with managing client credit limits and debtor accounts.
- Order Management:
- Collaborate with the team leader to ensure efficient order processing, monitoring labelling and special requirements for various orders.
- Escalate significant issues to the Business Development Manager (BDM) as needed.
- Reporting and Brand Development:
- Assist the BDM in creating supplier reports and providing market feedback, supporting brand development efforts to identify sales opportunities and increase revenue.
- Monitor brand performance and recommend adjustments to achieve objectives.
- Contract and Negotiation:
- Ensure shipping and payment terms are mutually beneficial, managing pricing, discounts, and service level agreements.
- Administration:
- Handle diverse, fast-paced tasks with extreme attention to detail, performing strategic administrative duties and filtering tasks effectively.
- Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution:
- Address and resolve client concerns promptly, developing preventive strategies to mitigate future issues.
- Market and Industry Research:
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscapes, providing clients with relevant insights and solutions based on market knowledge.
- Sales and Revenue Targets:
- Support the BDM in achieving sales and budget targets for assigned markets, monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development or a similar role.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with extreme attention to detail.
- Quick decision-making and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in administrative and technological tools.
- Relationship-building and customer-focused mindset.
- Self-motivated and goal-driven with a resilient approach.
- Innovative, strategic thinker with a solution-oriented attitude.
