Job Description

As a Senior Business Development Manager at Tower Group, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and revenue expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to meet or exceed revenue targets, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability in existing customer base.
  • Nurture and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers within the customer network, fostering trust and credibility through consultative engagement.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of client needs and preferences, leveraging this insight to create tailored solutions that drive business value.
  • Manage and negotiate pricing agreements within established guidelines to optimize revenue potential.
  • Analyse market trends and customer dynamics to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Present compelling proposals and RFP responses to secure new business and reinforce existing partnerships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop account plans that align with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant sales experience in account management.
  • Possession of a Higher Certificate or similar tertiary qualification (NQF5).
  • Diploma or similar qualification (NQF6) preferred.
  • Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver's license.
  • Proven understanding of client and market requirements.
  • Extensive knowledge of sales principles and processes.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
