About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Sydsen in the Durban region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the Automotive Industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Automotive Industry, building relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments in the Automotive Industry, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Communication and Negotiation: Develop and maintain strong communication and negotiation skills, effectively interacting with clients and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Time Management and Planning: Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and achieve business objectives.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A formal qualification in sales or business will be an added benefit.
  • Proven Working Experience: Proven working experience as a Business Development Manager, Vehicle Sales Executive, or a relevant role is non-negotiable.
  • Proven Sales Track Record: A proven sales track record is a MUST.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM Software: Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software, where applicable.
  • Proficiency in English: Proficiency in English is required.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the Automotive Industry and market trends.
  • Communication and Negotiation Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Time Management and Planning Skills: Strong time management and planning skills are required.
