We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at The Bay Hotel in Camps Bay. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, managing staff performance, and ensuring exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain revenue, profitability, and quality goals
  • Ensure efficient restaurant operation and maintain high production, productivity, and customer-service standards
  • SUPERVISE AND TRAIN front-of-house staff, including scheduling and conducting performance reviews
  • Manage inventory and optimize workflow for peak efficiency
  • Work closely with the Executive Team to deliver exceptional service and memorable dining experiences for guests

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or Equivalent
  • English proficiency (speaking, reading, writing, and understanding)
  • Computer literate level 2 minimum experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Accommodation Certificate/Hotel School diploma advantageous
  • Previous experience in a similar position in a 4/5-star hotel
  • Familiarity with all duties and procedures in a restaurant environment
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, and Email) essential
  • Opera experience advantageous
