We are seeking an Executive Housekeeper to become a vital part of our extraordinary team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall ambiance of our hotel, ensuring that every guest enjoys a pristine environment.

Estimated Salary: R400,000 - R500,000 per annum

**Job Description**

This position involves overseeing the housekeeping department, coordinating staff activities, training them in best practices, and implementing health and safety standards.

You will be responsible for inventory management, handling guest requests and complaints, and collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Team Leadership Skills: Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring they meet departmental goals.
  • Operational Management Expertise: Oversee inventory management, handle guest requests and complaints, and collaborate with other departments.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Implement and maintain health and safety standards while ensuring quality assurance processes are followed.
  • Strong Communication Abilities: Liaise effectively with property owners and managers to understand project scopes and deliver excellence in execution.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrate an excellent history of successful project delivery within the housekeeping department.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Applicable tertiary qualification in Hospitality or Tourism is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position within the hospitality industry.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office and experience with OPERA or similar Property Management Systems (PMS).
