Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Front Desk Representative to join our team at Accor Hotel in Cape Town. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring that every stay is a memorable one.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to all incoming calls and guest inquiries in a prompt and professional manner, adhering to our company standards.
  • Manage room assignments, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently, ensuring seamless communication with other departments.
  • Process payments, handle guest complaints, and resolve issues in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including guest preferences, special requests, and incident reports.
  • Participate in emergency procedures, including evacuation protocols and fire drills, to ensure the safety of our guests and staff.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management to support the efficient operation of the front desk.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hotel industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and hospitality software systems.
  • Able to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
