Job Description:
The ideal candidate will lead the culinary team to deliver exceptional dishes and services. Key responsibilities include:
- Culinary Leadership: Provide guidance and oversight to the Demi-Chef De Partie team to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef to create new menu items and seasonal specials that showcase local ingredients.
- Scheduling and Operations: Manage daily kitchen operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
- Quality Control: Ensure consistent high-quality dishes, adhering to health and safety standards.
Main Requirements:
- Culinary Certificate/Diploma or equivalent experience;
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Demi-Chef De Partie in a high-end establishment;
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent people skills;
- Able to maintain a professional working relationship with all departments;
- Familiarity with local ingredient sourcing and sustainable practices;
- Proficiency in managing kitchen budgets and inventory control systems;
- Comfortable dealing with very distinguished clientele and maintaining a clean and organized workspace;
