Purpose

This role focuses on acquiring new business for IDEMIA through customer acquisition and product launch.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Builds a strong knowledge of the respective market ecosystem
  2. Develops a go-to-market strategy
  3. Identifies and builds an opportunity pipeline through active monitoring of legislation, budgets, and call for tenders
  4. Uses a 'green field' strategy based on personal network, LinkedIn, or events
  5. Observes an existing account sales manager for advanced offers
  6. Establishes channel partnerships (formal or informal)
  7. Conducts commercial pitches
  8. Analyzes the competition environment to define a pricing strategy
  9. Acts as a business expert and reference for product lines in support of account managers
  10. Coordinates internal stakeholders to ensure deal feasibility and obtains necessary validation (technical offer and commercial offer)
  11. Handles tailored offer submissions and iterations
  12. Closes deals and coordinates implementation
  13. Transfers customer relationships to account management teams
  14. Drives autonomous deal handling
  15. Leads technical and commercial offer elaboration
  16. Influences budget and requirements of stakeholders
  17. Defines and implements deal strategies while deliverables are approved by internal stakeholders (solution architect, pricing, sales management)
  18. Coaches and advises entry or experienced business development managers on deal strategies
  19. Acts as a product expert and reference for product lines in support of account managers or government sales
  20. Pitches autonomously to customers for all types of deals
  21. Interacts with customer decision-makers or C-Level for all types of deals
  22. Owns responsibility for regional or global scopes
  23. Influences product roadmaps based on market and product knowledge
