Conference Developer

At Business Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Researcher / Content Developer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work on the development of timely and relevant conferences in the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct research and gather competitor intelligence to determine commercial viability and timing of a conference topic
- Develop and finalise the conference programme within stipulated timelines
- Identify and recruit appropriate speakers for the relevant conference
- Speaker liaison before and after each conference
- Oversee pre-conference preparation and on-site event management, dealing with speakers, delegates and sponsors alike
- Maintain a strategic partnership with speakers, associations, government and academics
- Communicate key conference information to the marketing team
- Attend local and international conferences
- Provide post conference reports and analysis, to generate new topic ideas for future events
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be well read in all sectors
- Good research and analytical skills
- Good negotiation skills
- The ability to manage multiple projects
- Must be an innovative, creative thinker and team player
- Must be able to interact with different levels of people from senior management to line function
- Well dressed
- Knowledge of legal, finance public and private sector
- Possess an understanding of business trends and a flair for research
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Degree Honours / Masters (Required)
Experience:Research: 2 years (Required)
