Apmc, a leading automotive manufacturing company dedicated to producing high-quality vehicles, is seeking a seasoned Strategic Business Expansion Manager to drive business growth and foster partnerships.

About the Role:

  1. Promote and secure new contracts with fleet and rental companies to expand Apmc's customer base.
  2. Liaise with government departments to ensure compliance and develop strategic partnerships.
  3. Support key projects aligned with company goals and objectives.
  4. Collaborate with potential business partners for electric vehicle (EV) initiatives and strengthen relationships.
  5. Market Apmc's products to corporate clients to enhance sales and brand presence.
  6. Participate in monthly strategic meetings and analyze business/production data.
  7. Track industry trends and prepare feedback reports.
  8. Address and resolve customer service issues to ensure satisfaction.
  9. Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers for ongoing credibility.
  10. Drive retention and expansion of key client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships.
  11. Conduct business presentations and proofread contracts/agreements for accuracy.
  12. Take meeting minutes and follow up on action items.
  13. Provide translation services when required at business events.

Requirements:

  1. Diploma in Business Administration or a related financial qualification.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, particularly in sales and marketing.
  3. Strong knowledge of the South African automotive market.
  4. Experience with dealer networks.
  5. Strong communication and execution skills.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and client relationship-building abilities.
  7. Effective planning, organization, and administration skills.
  8. Advanced proficiency in Excel.
