Employee Training and Development Manager

At ACB Consulting, we are seeking an experienced Employee Training and Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs to enhance employees' skills, knowledge, and performance.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the retail industry, with a strong background in human resources, education, or business administration. A tertiary qualification in a related field is essential, along with certifications such as Skills Development Facilitation Course by ETDP, Assessor Certification by ETDP, Train the Trainer Certification, OPETDP Diploma, and Registered SDF.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical aid, retirement annuity, and annual leave.
We are looking for a highly organized individual with exceptional communication skills, who can work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing training programs to meet the needs of our employees;
- Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making recommendations for improvement;
- Managing the development of training materials, including online videos and content creation;
- Conducting needs assessments and training evaluations;
- Maintaining accurate records of training sessions and employee progress;
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards;
- Leading the annual needs analysis process across the group, aligning learning initiatives with competency development, talent development, succession planning, and identified risks.
