Job Title: ER ManagerJob Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ER Manager to join our team at Sharon Nurock Recruitment CC. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on employee relations, compliance, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provision of Legal and Compliance Advisory Services: Provide expert advice on employee relations, compliance, and risk management to HRBPs.
  2. Strategic Lead on ER Matters: Develop and implement ER strategies in line with business objectives.
  3. Effective Bargaining Council Processes: Manage Bargaining Council processes and CCMA engagements.
  4. Reporting, Risk Management, and Mitigation: Analyze and report potential ER risks and develop strategies to minimize business interruption.
  5. Effective Dispute Resolution: Advise on dispute resolution and provide support with investigations.
  6. Fulfilment of EE and Transformation Agenda: Ensure implementation of Employment Equity and transformation objectives.
  7. Development of Policies and Frameworks: Develop policies, legal matrices, and frameworks of application.
Requirements
  • HR Degree or Employee Relations qualification.
  • Post Graduate qualifications are advantageous.
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years relevant ER experience in a unionized manufacturing industry.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in strategic leadership.
  • Proven successful practical application of relevant employee legislation.
  • Demonstrated value add within an Employment Equity, Diversity, and/or Transformation portfolio.
  • Strong experience in stakeholder management at all levels.
  • Experience in upholding company values in ER matters.
