  • To perform telephonic data collection tasks from households in Gauteng, ensuring accurate and timely completion of daily targets.
  • Administer questionnaires telephonically and simultaneously enter information into the relevant database, maintaining high levels of data quality and integrity.
  • Educate research participants on GRT Inspired research activities, fostering strong relationships and trust with respondents.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues, providing solutions and support to resolve complex problems.
  • Rout calls to appropriate resources, ensuring efficient allocation of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Document all call information according to standard operating procedures, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Participate in regular and ad hoc training and meetings for data collection, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience as a fieldworker or customer service representative.
  • Grade 12 qualification or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
