Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Manager: Employee Relations to join our team at TalentCru in the Western Cape Region. The successful candidate will have a strong background in labour relations, with extensive experience in managing internal dispute resolution, advising on labour-related issues, and handling external disputes at CCMA/Bargaining Councils.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to drive quality service by Labour Relations Service Centre team to operating entities, operations representatives, and management structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with labour legislation and implement interventions to mitigate risks for the company and its clients.
  • Manage internal dispute resolution, advise on labour-related issues, and handle external disputes at CCMA/Bargaining Councils.
  • Provide strategic consulting services and lead a team to achieve business and departmental objectives.
  • Collaborate with different business areas to provide stakeholders with knowledge and awareness of relevant laws, associated regulations, and requirements.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive employee relations strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organisational goals and legal requirements.
  • Represent the area of responsibility at relevant dispute tribunals (CCMA, Bargaining Council, and Labour Court where applicable) to effectively resolve disputes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in labour relations, with extensive exposure to labour litigation (CCMA, Bargaining Councils, Labour Court, etc).
  • Training experience would be advantageous.
  • Minimum 3-year managerial/supervisory experience.
  • TES and related staffing industry exposure advantageous.
  • Solid reporting and administration skills.
  • Microsoft office - Excellent Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word skills. SharePoint added advantage.
  • Tertiary qualification in Labour Relations/Labour Law/Bachelor's Degree in Labour Relations/Labour Law.
  • Admitted attorney would be an added advantage.

Estimated Salary: R1,200,000 per annum.
