BGA Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our client's prestigious golf club team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and preparation of food for up to 300 people within a 2-hour timeframe.
  • Stock management, including awareness of stock levels and maintaining minimal stock levels.
  • Kitchen administration, including planning meals and menus, creating new dishes, and maintaining high standards of existing menus.
  • Ensuring a professional appearance of self and presentation of the kitchen area, including hygiene and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Matric/Diploma or qualification in Culinary Skills or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the food, beverage, and banqueting environment.
  • Good computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
  • Familiarity with Jonas Club Management Software.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours and multitask under pressure.
  • A valid driver's license and own transportation.
