Executive Chef Assistant

BGA Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our client's prestigious golf club team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and preparation of food for up to 300 people within a 2-hour timeframe.
- Stock management, including awareness of stock levels and maintaining minimal stock levels.
- Kitchen administration, including planning meals and menus, creating new dishes, and maintaining high standards of existing menus.
- Ensuring a professional appearance of self and presentation of the kitchen area, including hygiene and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Matric/Diploma or qualification in Culinary Skills or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in the food, beverage, and banqueting environment.
- Good computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
- Familiarity with Jonas Club Management Software.
- Flexibility to work varying hours and multitask under pressure.
- A valid driver's license and own transportation.
