Job Summary: Ingenious personnel is seeking a skilled Field Service Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex industrial equipment and systems at client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and Commission: Install and commission new equipment and systems, ensuring that they meet manufacturer and client specifications.
  • Perform Regular Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose and Repair: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, using tools and testing equipment to identify root causes, and carry out repairs and replace faulty components to restore full functionality.
  • Provide On-Site and Remote Technical Support: Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, addressing immediate operational concerns.
  • Troubleshoot System Malfunctions: Troubleshoot system malfunctions, offering solutions to improve equipment efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Establish Strong Relationships: Establish strong relationships with clients by delivering excellent service and clear communication.
  • Train Client Personnel: Train client personnel on equipment operation, maintenance best practices, and safety protocols.
  • Maintain Detailed Records: Maintain detailed records of maintenance and service activities, parts used, and time spent on each service call.
  • Provide Comprehensive Service Reports: Provide comprehensive service reports, detailing issues encountered, work completed, and recommendations for future actions.
  • Manage Inventory: Track parts and equipment inventory to ensure necessary supplies are available for service calls.
  • Attend to Other Duties: Attend to any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or A+ and N+ IT Qualifications: Diploma or A+ and N+ IT qualifications or similar qualifications.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in field service dealing with IT software and hardware support.
  • Reliable Vehicle: Must have own reliable vehicle.
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills, time management, and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
