**Front Office Administrator**
**Cape Town**
Following up on payments for individual accounts, checking billing instructions and routing for in-house groups, actioning invoice requests from various clients, and actioning credit card payments from all OTA bookings will form part of your responsibilities.
You will act and ensure compliance with banking procedures regarding: All Pay Gate payments that are not integrated, All Amex Pay Gate payments that are processed manually, and Refunds of cancellations on Pay Gate/Bank Transfers. Checking guest profiles to ensure statistical data is correct and updated for all arrival guests and handling any Direct Bills queries/corrections from the Finance Team and Reservations Department will be part of your daily duties.
You will compile Front Office month-end reports and action adjustments on admin accounts; manage and action all general administrative duties in the Front Office Department, including ordering and maintaining par levels of stationery; and time and attendance scheduling and ensuring timesheets are correct and ready for payroll. Lastly, you will assist with general reception duties and cover as required.
You have a** Matric Certificate and a Hospitality Qualification** with **3 years’ Front Office experience in a similar position**, knowledge of Front Office systems Opera V5 / Opera Cloud, and above average computer skills with excellent ability to work with Excel.
Along with your clear credit rating, you have a high aptitude for figures and reconciliations.
