Employee Relations Consultant

A leading and stable chemical company requires a suitably qualified ER Consultant in Kempton Park.
**Purpose of the job**
The aim for the incumbent is to implement systems and processes in order to mitigate workplace conflict. In this role, the incumbent must manage the implementation of employee relations strategies, policies and procedures in line with priorities and objectives.
To strengthen the employer-employee relationship through identifying and resolving workplace issues, measuring employee satisfaction and morale, and providing support and input to the company's performance management process.
**Qualifications**:
- National Diploma/ Degree in Labour relations/ Law/ Human resources (NQF 6)
- Postgraduate qualification in Labour law would be an advantage (NQF 7)
**Experience**
- Minimum 5 years representation at CCMA and Bargaining Council experience
- Min 2 years exposure to the labour court
- Min 5 years exposure to a unionised environment in a chemical Operation.
**Technical Competencies**
- Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Labour legislation
- Change management skills

- Presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of integrity
- Able to handle conflict management
**Reporting structure**:
- This position reports to the **HR Business Partner.**
**Personal Circumstances**:
- Must be able to obtain a satisfactory medical report from the companies’ medical centre.

**Salary**: R540K annual basic salary, highly negotiable depending on experience.

**Salary**: R500,000.00 - R540,000.00 per year
