**Job Overview - Payroll Consultant**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage payroll operations using SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Provide direction and supervision to a team of payroll administrators.
- Review payroll entries for accuracy, ensuring correct salary, bonus, tax, and deduction calculations.
- Ensure all payroll processing deadlines are met and coordinate the timely payment of employees.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll-related queries.
- Collaborate with the Finance and HR departments to ensure accurate payroll accounting entries and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
- Maintain payroll data integrity within the SAP system.
- Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
- Monitor and prepare payroll reports for management review.
- Assist with payroll audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
- Stay updated with SAP payroll modules, tax regulations, and employment regulations

**Qualifications and knowledge**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing on SAP
- Strong experience in **Payroll Accounting** and familiarity with payroll tax regulations.
- Proven experience in managing and supervising payroll teams.
- In-depth understanding of SAP payroll modules and their integration with other SAP modules.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll-related software (SAP).

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in Payroll or SAP Payroll Administration.
- Experience with payroll process automation.

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: From R300 000,00 per year
