**SALES ADMINISTRATOR / COORDINATOR**
The Sales Administrator / Coordinator key role is to keep the Sales and Commercial department running smoothly and assist the Sales and Commercial management team. They offer administrative support to the Sales and Commercial team, order gifting supplies, make travel arrangements and coordinate meetings. They are also responsible performing basic revenue management and sales tasks.
**Other responsibilities include:(NB* Not all duties are listed below)**
Provide Admin & Office Support to the Sales Team
Ensuring the Sales and Commercial Share drives are updated
Updating of all market segment databases
Coordinate conference calls and business meetings
Organize tradeshows and events
Coordinate site inspections and client events
Data capturing in STR for revenue
Coordinate and facilitate the sending of agreed STO rates and corporate contracts
Submitting RFP’s in Lanyon and Cvent
Taking and distributing of minutes of meetings
Ordering gifting and supplies for sales team
Maintaining all stock levels of gifting
Assisting with reservations for VIP’s and Barter agreements
Keeping records of barter agreements and vouchers issued
Build and maintain effective relationships with guests, clients and internal teams
**Requirements**:
Work experience as a Sales Administrator / Coordinator or similar management role
Previous experience in the industry preferred
Matric certificate (Grade 12) and post graduate diploma
Well-groomed and able to present themselves in a professional manner
Must be prepared to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Must be computer literate (Opera)
Must be guest service driven
3 contactable references
Proactive problem solver.
A People’s person; good with guests and clients.
Able to act decisively and quickly when necessary.
Strong Business Acumen
Good working knowledge of administrative software like Opera, Lanyon, Revinate and Microsoft Excel, Power Point and MS Word.
