Influencer Manager: Global Fmcg Youth Culture Brand

Finger on the pulse of youth and Influencer culture? We have an incredible opportunity in Johannesburg for a mid-weight Influencer Manager at an edgy, global FMCG brand operating in the Youth Marketing space
The Influencer Manager is responsible for localisation of the global strategy as well as the day-to-day operational execution of the plan. You will work closely with internal stakeholders both locally and globally to ensure efficient workflows and adherence to the global framework.
**Responsibilities**:
- Own and develop strategic direction for Influencer Marketing
- Work cross functionally to understand and assess current ways of working with Influencers, consider the most appropriate workflow and strategies and structures to ensure the best outcomes for our business objectives
- Define goals and holistic assessment guidelines for working with any kind of Influencers and ensure key stakeholders understand and buy into these approaches to ensure an aligned approach across functions
- Collaborate with international stakeholders to encourage learning exchange, share best practices, and provide an understanding of the South African landscape within context of Influencers
- Influencer Program execution with Excellence and Careful Selection
- Identify and develop relationships with opinion leaders whose organic reach can add value to the business across a variety of key playgrounds, to support us in building brand and product trust
- Work cross functionally to determine strategies across the calendar year and opportunities by project and function to help achieve our business objectives, ensure clear objectives identified and ROI goals
- Represent the brand in an authentic manner and take the time to understand Influencers’ interests, goals and where they want to go while building a genuine connection and relationship
- General business operations
- Support all areas of the business including brand, sport, culture, etc. to help amplify the existing marketing initiatives that align with their interests
- Create and present best practices from within the world of the brand in the Influencer space to inspire and further educate
- Maintaining the database and remaining POPI compliant
- Budgeting and Reporting ROI
- Refine the existing management & reporting tools and monitor approaches for all Influencers and ensure our company wide approach is effective and efficient
- Constantly evolve this process and share learnings and coaching with other team members, actively report and present learnings and successes to different business stakeholders, focusing on product trust and ROI of our investments
- Responsible for accurate budget management & commercial business case development; leading onboarding and training around Influencers Marketing across the organisation as well as be a role model to wider marketing team members.
**Requirements**:
- Industry relevant qualification
- 5 years of experience in the Influencer Marketing and Social Media Content space
- Strong planning and project management competencies
- Excellent reporting and negotiation skills
- Previous experience working with SA based Influencers on a resonating brand
- Passionate about the Social Influencer space and experienced in working with/managing talent
- An understand of social trends and platforms as well as consumer habits
- Hands on
- Creative and able to ideate campaigns
- Basic knowledge of the platform creator platforms - TikTok, Instagram, YouTube
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate cross-functional collaborations
- Creative mind paired with an entrepreneurial ‘can-do’ attitude focusing on solutions
