**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Develops and executes long term, sustainable Culture & Experiential marketing strategies designed

around defined business objectives.
- Identifies relevant cultural trends and is at the forefront of emerging events, outlets and ideas.
- Partners with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all programs are delivering on brand objectives and follows brand strategy.
- Stewardship of contractual relationships and ongoing communications with sponsored

artists, entertainers and influencers while constantly evaluating their participation and success of

their respective program.
- Constantly screens and recruits new artists and influencers for additions to the sponsorship roster; constantly reviews current roster for real time evaluation.
- Ownership and accountability for the Culture & Experiential Marketing budgets in cooperation with

the marketing team.
- Ensures artists, influencers and entertainers are properly trained and educated on brand and legal

guidelines.
- Provides feedback and reporting as requested on strategy, program effectiveness and results, budget and campaign updates.

**Projects**
- In cooperation and coordination with the Global Brand Marketing team and priority international markets develop and execute the strategy 'Amapiano To The World' to build strong affinity and connection between the brand and the music genre Amapiano in multiple international markets.

**Marketing Code**
Communicate the Marketing Code to the stakeholders and ensure compliance.

**Working Relationships**:

- All external music and entertainment industry contacts including artists, actors, television personalities, DJs, management & talent agents, influencers and promoters.
- External marketing agencies and service providers
- The distribution partners of MEA Region, particularly in priority Africa markets

All departments including:

- Global Brand Marketing
- Global Trade Marketing
- Corporate Communications
- Regional Management

**Reporting**
- Maintain completely open and transparent communication with the Vice President and Country Manager.
- Copy the Vice President (for information) and Country Manager on correspondence and meetings for

key projects within South Africa and the distribution partners of the MEA Region.
- Produce comprehensive monthly business activity reports for the Vice President and Country Manager.
- Ensure tasks and deadlines set by the Vice President and Country Manager are achieved on time.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required**:

- Excellent organisational skills and project management expertise
- Ability to work extended evening hours as needed
- Passion for music and expert understanding of the music and entertainment industries
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership and negotiation abilities
- Expertise in video, photo and social content creation
- Digital / content creation marketing experience
- 7+ years creative and event agency management experience
- 7+ years relevant Music and / or Entertainment Marketing experience
- Fluent in music and entertainment marketing and pop culture trends
- Travel is required, sometimes on weekends and holidays
