Field Sales Representative

Our client, a supplier of retail products, is looking for a results-driven **Sales Representative (FMCG) **with excellent interpersonal skills, actively seeks out and engages with customer prospects. It would be required to approach **Retail stand-alone shops that sell houseware (Kitchen) items (pots ,air fryers etc).**
**Required Skills/Abilities/Education**:
- Proven work experience as a Sales Representative, at least 2 years or more.
- Retail / FMCG experience will have preference.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to build productive professional relationships.
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Prioritising, time management, and organisational skills.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
- Own vehicle and driver's license.
- Matric.
- Other relevant qualifications will have preference.
**Responsibilities**:
- You will be required to approach Retail stand-alone shops that sell houseware (Kitchen) items (pots ,air fryers etc).
- Focus on Specific geographic areas such as Alexandra (Louis Botha area) ,centre of town and 2-3 other areas in proximity.
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of ex1st1ng/potential customers to meet their needs.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Reach out to customer leads.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule.
- Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
- Analyse the territory/market's potential, track sales and status reports.
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, and competitive activities. and potential for new products and services.
- Continuously Improve through feedback.
**SALARY DISCLAIMER**:
The advertised Remuneration: R6000 basic+ R1000 petrol allowance ,guaranteed for 3 months.
Plus MONTHLY Commission for the first 3 months on the following scale:
- Sales: 0-R50000 at 10% of sales
- Next R50000 (at 9% of sales)
- Next R100,000(at 7% of sales)
- Next R300,000 (at 5% of sales)
- Sales over R500,000( at 4% of sales)
**Please note the following**:
- Note1: Sales must be paid by EFT /cash banked before delivery of goods.
- Note 2: Company not responsible if item out of stock, commission accrues on actual delivery of goods.
- Note 3: Commission gets suitably adjusted for returns of brand-new stock. Ideally, no stock returns will be allowed other than for the first order for each retail customer.
- Note 4: As an example, if the sales rep generates R370,000 in one month: The commission will be R5000(first R50k of sales)+R4500(next R50k)+R7000(next R100k) +R8500 (next R170,000 of sales), total of R25,000.
- Note 5: After the first 3 months ,basic +allowance +commission will be re-negotiated based on the 3-month progress.

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
