**Administrative Assistant job duties and responsibilities**:
- Answering client queries, giving information, accepting, and processing orders, and Dealing with supplier and service provider complaints
- Answering phone calls and following up with customers and vendors on appointments and delivery.
- Maintaining, updating, and compiling company records.
- Keeping track of office supplies and collaborating with providers to guarantee a steady
- supply.
- Scheduling appointments, organizing meetings, issuing reports, and handling
- correspondence between the office and external bodies.
- Maintaining and compiling records of office transactions.
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
**Skills and attributes required**:
- Ability to type at least 30 wpm.
- Ability to proofread.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Strong organizational skills
- Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent data processing skills
- Knowledge of software used by the company
- Excellent customer service skills
**Educational requirements**:
Matric certificate, any degree/diploma associated with the job contents will be beneficial.
**Minimum experience required**:
1-year experience in basic administration and accounts
**Salary level**:
R6500
**Start date**: ASAP
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Johannesburg South, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Administrative office procedures, practices and equipment: 1 year (preferred)
