A well-known Food Raw Material Company requires the above to manage Key Accounts within the food manufacturing industry maximising profitability, controlling working capital, growing portfolio’s and achieving budgetary objectives.
**Minimum requirements for the role**:
- Previous Key Account Manager or sales experience having sold food raw materials within the food manufacturing industry is preferred for the role.
- The Company is happy to train any raw material salesperson into the food industry for this role.
- Must be fast paced, results and sales driven with a strong sales force.
- Must have a good business acumen with good analytical and synthesis skills.
- Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Must be computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Managing Key Accounts selling food raw materials into the beverages, dairy, bakery, confectionary and related food sectors.
- Developing and implementing a multi-annual strategic plan based upon the Company strategy and Customer expectations.
- Developing and implementing Key Account plans and strategies to ensure sales targets and objectives are on target.
- Developing a transverse relationship with the Customer and ensuring strategic alignment.
- Managing specialities and commodities food raw materials on a national basis.
- Establishing and achieving monthly and annual budgets, based on Customer information and forecasts and preparing annual budgets for Senior Management.
- Identifying new business opportunities by leveraging the full potential of the Company’s product and services portfolio.
- Ensuring timeous and correct delivery of goods to Customers.
- Effectively implementing price increases and maintaining monthly / quarterly price lists to Customers.
- Preparing Customer forecasts and Customer schedules.
- Promoting new and existing products into the food industry according to agreed budgets and timescales.
- Attending and promoting product launches, promotions, exhibitions, etc. for the food manufacturing industries.
- Monitoring and reporting on market and competitor activities and providing relevant reports to Management.
- Presenting and compiling weekly and monthly reports to Senior Management.
**Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.**
