Core Description
This role is responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies that drive subscription-based revenue growth, maximize profitability and enhance the customer experience, for the specific Business Area by adapting traditional IT commercial practices to the unique challenges and opportunities for the BU. Key Deliverables / Primary Functions
Lead the BU’s alignment with the BCX Strategy and operating model by developing and implementing an integrated Commercial.
Monitor and analyse key commercial performance indicators for BU products and services.
Determine, in conjunction with the financial function, pricing strategies for the BU’s XaaS offering.
Play a key role in contract negotiations for the BU, Business Development and Sales teams to develop robust comprehensive business cases and support negotiations.
Conduct regular strategic analysis of all existing and proposed commercial opportunities.
Develop commercial forecasting models for current and proposed opportunities.
Collaborate with relevant business unit leaders to deliver campaigns and to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Build and lead a high-performing BU commercial team, integrated and aligned with the BCX Commercial.
Ensure the BU adheres to regulatory requirements related and applied to a predominantly XaaS business model.
Coach, lead, motivate, inspire and develop employees within the commercial department. Minimum of 12 years’ experience, of which 2 years is at a Senior management or executive level, with specific relevance to Commercial operations Certifications Professional Memberships in Relevant Industry Level of Engagement & Span of Control Span of Control 5 - 8 Level of Engagement All Levels
