**EVENT CO-ORDINATOR**

**Based in town. A company that offers workspace to clients are seeking an experience event co-ordinator.**
- Must have reliable transport to town._

**Requirements**:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in hospitality and event and meeting room coordination or a related field. Food and beverage experience also a benefit. - Proven experience in event and meeting planning, coordination, and execution. - Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with tact and professionalism. - Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, attendees, and internal stakeholders. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and plan events and meetings, including room setup, audio/visual equipment, catering, and signage. - Manage event and meeting schedules and maintain accurate and up-to-date records. - Act as the primary point of contact for clients and attendees, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise. - Oversee the setup and breakdown of events and meetings, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly set up and functioning. - Maintain the meeting and event rooms, ensuring that they are clean, organised, and wellstocked at all times. - Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless event and meeting planning and execution. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring that all events and meetings are executed within budget and on schedule. - Stay current with industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for improvements to processes and procedures. - Promote the event space to corporates, external event planners etc. - Oversee and take responsibility for all operational aspect of the members café

**Salary**: R20,000.00 per month
