**Business Area and Team**
**The Role**
This role would suit a technically minded individual, able to quickly diagnose and troubleshoot problems, with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to exercise discretion in relation to confidential data held on our systems.
The IT Support Assistant will need to be self-motivated and confident. You will be part of a small dynamic team and have the support you need to develop and grow within the Corporate IT Department.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Providing first-line support for all staff across the various locations
- Onboarding new starters - This includes Installation & configuration of Windows 10 and end-user laptop software
- Maintaining printer facilities at on-premises locations.
- Maintaining and improving the service level of the IT helpdesk.
- Assisting with the administration and maintenance of company IT equipment.
- Upkeep of IT Supports knowledge base.
- Work with the IT Team to help maintain the infrastructure and services, including Active Directory, DNS, Office 365 and Azure services.
- Help with ongoing projects relating to the IT infrastructure.
**Key Skills**
- This position requires a working knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop (Windows 10) administration experience, including Active Directory, gained within a similar role or work experience.
- You must have good hardware and software troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Previous experience is also required in the following areas:
- Maintaining an IT helpdesk
- Maintaining and Deploying Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 10)
In addition, to which, working knowledge or experience in the following areas would also be beneficial:
- Windows Active Directory
- Office 365 (Exchange Online, Azure Active Directory, SharePoint Online)
- Office 2016 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
- IIS
- SQL Server
- Microsoft Teams
