A leading provider of innovative fuel and fintech solutions is looking for a results-driven Key Account Manager to engage with fuel retailers, strengthen partnerships, and maximize sales opportunities.
About the Role
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a client-facing environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has a natural talent for identifying sales opportunities. Reporting to the Head of Growth, you will manage key client relationships, promote additional solutions, and ensure clients get the most out of their existing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement & Sales Growth
- Build strong relationships with existing clients to ensure continued business success.
- Identify and present opportunities to cross-sell additional solutions, including:
- Cash Flow Management
- Automatic Tank Gauging (ATG)
- Point of Sale (POS)
- Card Integration
- Supplier Payments
- Cash Management
- Proactively handle client queries and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Collaboration & Lead Generation
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve client issues and facilitate smooth onboarding.
- Coordinate with specialists across deployment, technical support, and operations to optimize service delivery.
- Ensure a seamless client experience by managing the transition of leads to the sales team.
- Client Visits & Ongoing Support
- Conduct regular on-site visits to build relationships and offer hands-on support.
- Provide remote assistance to clients, ensuring their systems run smoothly.
- Data Management & Reporting
- Keep CRM and internal databases updated with accurate client information.
- Track client performance, site activities, and sales pipeline to support data-driven decision-making.

What's Needed to Succeed?
- Matric essential
- Experience in client relationship management, sales, or account management (fuel or fintech industry preferred)
- Knowledge of fuel retail operations and POS solutions is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to explain technical solutions in an easy-to-understand way
- Ability to identify sales opportunities and negotiate effectively
- A proactive mindset with the willingness to visit clients regularly
- CRM proficiency to manage client data efficiently
