Key Account Manager

Are you passionate about building strong relationships and driving success in the healthcare industry? Our client in the Northern Cape, Kathu, is committed to making a positive impact on patient care by partnering with leading healthcare providers and organizations. They are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Key Account Manager to manage and grow their key accounts in the healthcare sector.
This position is office bound and requires extensive travelling.
The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the management of sales and relationships with allocated key accounts.
To create long-term relationships with the portfolio of assigned clients and to grow the overall business.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric
- A tertiary qualification in business administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 Years work experience and understanding of Medical Aid or Healthcare Industry or experience in a similar role.
- Valid drivers license
- Business Degree
- Additional certifications in customer relationship management, or related areas
Key Responsibilities:
- Attending to member, HR, Union, and other requests via telephone, email and on confirmed visits to clients i.e.:
- Account/claim queries (rejections, short paid, unpaid etc.)
- Specialist and hospital authorisations, disease management enquiries
- Acute, OTC, TTO, and chronic medication
- Adding of dependents, card requests, change of option, change of personal information, new applications, reinstatement of dependents etc.
- Product and benefit confirmation
- Continuous member, HR, Union, and other education
- Other medical aid related concerns or issues
- Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders
- Planning monthly schedule
- Business Review Planning
- Facilitation of Wellness days
- Facilitation of PR events
- Focus on growing the business
- Conduct presentation to prospective clients
- Follow through to signing an employer agreement
