Business Development Consultant Cape Town

Our financial Services client is looking for a Business Consultant / Business Development Consultant with 2-3 years sales experience. Must have experience working with Independent Financial Advisors or DFMs and independent Umbrella funds. Looking for candidate from financial services industry like Momentum or Alan Gray to name a few.

Salary: Market-related CTC

Position Type: Permanent - Office based.

Travel: Monthly travel to JHB, Durban and Port Elizabeth

Start Date: ASAP

Industry: Financial Services

Minimum Requirements:

  • BCom or equivalent qualification
  • RE5 & FAIS Compliant - added advantage
  • Class of Business training - Long Term Insurance (to be completed within 12-months of employment)
  • Up to 2-3 years experience in a sales or business development roles Financial Services
  • Knowledge on the investment landscape including regulatory requirements and guidelines for selling and providing advice would be ideal.
  • Knowledge on investment linked insurance products would be advantageous.
  • Product sales and cross-selling tactics and strategies (Optimisation of client).
