WATER AND SANITATION WS 10/24 Senior Process Controller

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (preferably with Maths / Science) plus NTC 3
(Water Treatment) or Full NQF 4 (water treatment);
relevant Diploma or higher qualification plus Code B or

EB Drivers License.

  • Eligibility to be classified as a Class IV.
  • 6 years' experience of which 2 years must be at
Process Controller level or 3 years if in possession

of relevant diploma or higher.

Key Performance Areas

  • Supervise, operate, control and monitor the efficiency of
one or more of the following process units in accordance

with the operation and maintenance manuals.

  • Facilitate and /or execute maintenance functions of Water
Treatment Plants assets and equipment.

  • Ensure the active participation and promotion of safety
and quality standards in treatment plants.

  • Conducting routine and adhoc administration and
communication functions.

  • Supervises adherence to plant housekeeping
requirements.

  • Required to work shifts on a continuous rotating basis
and ensure effective shift hand-over.

  • Required to work in adverse weather conditions and
emergency overtime.
