Requirements:

  • A relevant Btech/First degree
  • 8 years relevant experience
  • A valid driver's licence
  • Proficiency in all MS Office Applications
Key Performance Areas

  • Manage, coordinate and control City Wide Debt Management
for Water and Sanitation Service

  • Responsible for debt management projects
  • Analyse data into valuable information to inform decisionmaking
  • Review water debtors to ensure timeous collection of outstanding
water debt, working with the relevant City business units

  • Manage the debt collection process to ensure continuous
increase of collection ratios

  • Supervise the daytoday operations of the Section within the
depot and administrative environment

  • Drive system and process enhancements to ensure efficient use
of all resources and continuous improved performance

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and City policies,
manage accountability requirements and the system

of delegations

  • Lead in coordinating and facilitating meetings with all internal
and external stakeholders

  • Ensure that appropriate internal service level agreements within
the Branch are established and monitor compliance.

  • Continuously review, identify and implement new business
processes to ensure continuous improvements of the debt

management functioning and contribution towards the

sustainability of water and sanitation service
