Role Overview: As our Insurance Innovator - Account Executive Extraordinaire, you'll be more than just a number cruncher; you'll be a strategic partner, a visionary, and a client advocate. This is not your average insurance gig – it's an opportunity to reshape the insurance landscape and lead our clients into a future of financial security.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Forging strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, goals, and dreams.

Serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic insights and innovative solutions tailored to each client.

Dive deep into the intricacies of each client's business and personal risks.

 

Lead the charge in introducing cutting-edge insurance products and services to clients.

 

Identify opportunities for account growth and upselling of additional insurance products.

Develop and execute strategies to expand our client portfolio and market presence.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive in the insurance industry.
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance products, risk management, and industry regulations.
  • Charismatic and confident – you're the face of our innovative insurance solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development within the insurance industry.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Minimum 7 years short-term insurance with 5 of the 7 years in a commercial sales and service capacity in a broking environment.
  • Matric
  • Level 4 FETC Short-term Insurance Qualification
  • Passed FAIS Regulatory Exam
  • Higher Certificate in Insurance
  • Post matric qualification is an advantage (BComm Risk/Accounting, BBA)
