Senior Insurance Innovation Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Insurance Innovation Manager.
About the RoleThis is an exceptional opportunity for a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and insurance industry trends. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for forging strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, goals, and dreams.
You will serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic insights and innovative solutions tailored to each client. Your in-depth knowledge of insurance products, risk management, and industry regulations will be invaluable in driving revenue growth and expanding our client portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success as an Account Executive in the insurance industry, with a minimum of 7 years' experience in short-term insurance, including 5 years in commercial sales and service capacity in a broking environment.
Key Responsibilities- Forge strong relationships with clients and understand their needs, goals, and dreams
- Serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic insights and innovative solutions tailored to each client
- Dive deep into the intricacies of each client's business and personal risks
- Lead the charge in introducing cutting-edge insurance products and services to clients
- Identify opportunities for account growth and upselling of additional insurance products
- Develop and execute strategies to expand our client portfolio and market presence
- Proven experience as an Account Executive in the insurance industry
- Strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends
- In-depth knowledge of insurance products, risk management, and industry regulations
- Charismatic and confident – you're the face of our innovative insurance solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience in business development within the insurance industry
- Strategic thinker with a track record of driving revenue growth
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Minimum 7 years' experience in short-term insurance, including 5 years in commercial sales and service capacity in a broking environment
- Matric
- Level 4 FETC Short-term Insurance Qualification
- Passed FAIS Regulatory Exam
- Higher Certificate in Insurance
- Post-matric qualification is an advantage (BComm Risk/Accounting, BBA)
